Fine Art Photography

by András Dobi

My Artistic Approach

Photography is a practice for me to understand the role of the fractions of moment within the flow of time. Transmitting thoughts through visual imprints is my preferred way of self expression.

I am a creator type photographer. I prefer to plan and control the scene that I see later on my prints.

I am searching for visual poetry.

During the past years, discovering art by realizing and photographing singular art concepts has became a habit of mine. The more I advance in creation the more complex ideas come to my mind and will be photographed. Although complexity is not my main interest in image creation, I often aim to show multiply layers of thoughtfulness.

Bio

András Dobi, is a Germany based fine art photographer, born in Hungary. András comes from the field of performing arts as he was educated as a professional ballet dancer. As part of his art education he studied contemporary dance, fine arts, art history, philosophy and film aesthetics among other art related subjects. After his professional dance career, he applied his artistic experience to fine art photography. Since he participated as a performer in various forms of performing arts and installations, he strongly believes in mixed media art format. In the past years, he has been focusing on creating imagery that relies on unusual camera use. He studied and developed unique photographic methods to achieve a singular aesthetics. Often using a combination of moving subjects, remote flash and even camera movements during one single exposure. His current interest is around two subjects, the self and its acceptance as well as the camera as a measurement tool. All these elements make his images look abstract and formalist at the same time. About the prints

The highest print quality by András Dobi

The Studio Standard: Craftsmanship & Artistry

At Adobi Visual, the transition from a digital vision to a physical masterpiece is a journey of precision. To ensure that every work of art honors the original intent of the composition, I have evolved my production process from external fulfillment to a dedicated, artist-led studio mode

The Artist’s Hand

I believe that a fine art print should be more than just a copy; it should be a tangible extension of the artist’s vision. To guarantee this, every single print sold through this store follows one of two paths:

  1. In-Studio Production: Many of my editions are now printed directly in my private studio, where I personally manage the color calibration, ink density, and tonal range of every output.
  2. Personal Curation: For specialized formats, I work with elite master printers under my direct supervision. No print ever reaches a client without first passing through my hands for a rigorous quality inspection.

When you receive a print from Adobi Visual, you are receiving a piece that has been personally vetted, approved, and handled by the artist.

Museum-Quality Materials: Moab Juniper

The soul of a print lies in the paper. My “go-to” medium is Moab Juniper Baryta Rag 305.

This is a 100% cotton, true baryta fiber paper that offers the density and texture of a traditional darkroom silver halide paper. It provides a unique velvet-matte finish with a slight sheen that brings out deep, rich blacks and incredible shadow detail—essential for the architectural and abstract nuances of my work. This is museum-grade, archival paper designed to last for generations without fading or degradation.

Global Security & Delivery

Art is a global language, and I am committed to bringing these visions to collectors wherever they reside.

  • Worldwide Shipping: I offer fully tracked shipping to almost every corner of the globe.
  • Fully Insured: Every shipment is 100% insured. In the rare event of transit damage, your investment is protected, and a replacement will be prioritized immediately.

Secure Packaging: I use heavy-duty, pH-neutral materials to ensure your print arrives in pristine, gallery-ready condition.

Quality Without Compromise

By bringing the printing process closer to the studio, I am able to bridge the gap between the digital eye and the physical touch. Each piece is a testament to the intersection of modern technology and traditional craftsmanship.
