Seclusion exists within a compressed field of space and attention. Form withdraws, not to disappear, but to remain contained. The image holds a tension between presence and suspension, where movement is implied yet withheld and orientation feels temporarily inaccessible.

Within the What’s Your Twenty? series, the work occupies a moment where direction is deferred and resolution remains out of reach. Seclusion is not presented as an end point, but as a condition—an interval in which the need to proceed and the inability to do so coexist, unresolved.

Concept & Artistic Context

Looking for solution, looking for settlement, but yet the fear of missing out by staying too long overrides. The inner discomfort is caused by conflict with myself. I am empty in the nothingness. I am paralysed by the limitless options.

Through the making of this ongoing self-portrait project, I aim to explore the possibilities given by the relation between space, body, camera and conceptual thinking. The act of performing to the camera silences me, focusing my attention to align the elements of this ever-changing constellation.

The title What’s your twenty reflects the once were common CB language that supposed to refer to the location of the asked person.
